Trauma Relief Therapy

Trauma Relief Therapy provides many paths to getting relief from the pain of intrusive memories. Clients benefit differently from different modes of therapy, and we’ll work together to find out which method works best for you. You can expect that trauma therapy will make the unpleasant memories of the past a vague picture, a distant sound, and a subdued feeling sooner than you think.

Some clients need to talk about what happened to them in the past in order to get validation—to know that it was real and not a hallucination—and to have someone hear their story and break their silence. Some clients don’t benefit from detailed discussions on their past and prefer to simply address the maladaptive patterns (the behavioral patterns holding them back) that they have today.

By talking about what you believe is most comfortable for you and talking through what you believe about the world, you’ll learn more about yourself and the mechanisms you need to move forward. You’ll learn to identify the decisions you have made about the world and whether these beliefs and conclusions are true, accurate, and helpful. If they aren’t, you’ll learn how to create new views that will help you heal from your trauma.

Substance Abuse Counseling

Substance Abuse Counseling doesn’t have to be a painful and challenging experience. One size does not fit all! That’s why we take a personal approach to your addiction treatment. When your counselor is skilled, knowledgeable, patient, and respectful of your view of the world, you’ll be able to tackle your recovery much more effectively.

People have long-lasting benefits from therapy if it is internalized little by little when ready, rather than being artificially pressured by outside forces. We will accept you exactly where you are and help you discover the healthiest direction to go from there. We present alternatives to meet all your needs, and we invite you to think deeply about what is truly important to you.

You can’t beat an enemy if you don’t get in the ring. NLP Cognitive Implosion of Addiction (also known as the Compulsion Blow-Out) stops the cravings. Transactional Analysis (TA) stops the hiding, the lies, and the manipulation because the truth will set you free. Set yourself free today.

The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) defines the following levels of treatment, all of which we provide:

  • Level 2.0 Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is typically 3 hours per night, 3 nights per week, for 6–12 weeks.
  • Level 1.0 Outpatient (OP) is typically 2 hours per night, 2 nights per week, for 6–12 weeks.
  • Level 0.5 Relapse Prevention (RP) is typically 1 hour per night, 1 night per week, for 12–24 weeks.

Depression & Anxiety Relief Therapy

Depression and Anxiety Relief Therapy has many forms and will help you find relief, calm, energy, and happiness. Depression and anxiety can stem from many different causes and sometimes no cause at all.

If there is trauma in your past, we’ll help you heal. If you’ve resorted to substance abuse as a coping mechanism, we’ll help you regain control so you can take the right steps.

Sometimes you might face a loss in your childhood—loss or absence of a parent, a betrayal, a loss of innocence, or growing up too fast. Childhood trauma can create a hurt child in us. As an adult, you can comfort, guide, nurture, and love the hurt child within you.

Some people might have some unbalanced neurotransmitters that can be changed with medication, diet, exercise, water, or meditation. We’ll supplement everything with talk therapy and show you how paying attention to what you focus on can change your physical chemistry.

We can help you change helplessness and hopelessness into courage, strength, and hope. We can figure out what’s stopping you from moving on in life and how to think about it differently and find the energy to do something about it. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) will change your inner person for the better.

Career Success Coaching

If your job is draining your energy, you’re in the wrong one. The worries and short-term responsibilities of life often force us to forget our childhood dreams, teenage passions, and youthful vision. Career Success Coaching will help you find your lost purpose in life.

Most people live out life by going to school and getting a job, but as we mature and develop, we find our profession and our livelihood. It takes some introspection to discover what we truly love doing—that vocation that brings us the most joy. It takes some knowledge of the world and what’s out there to find that perfect career.

If you are weary and your heart is heavy, give us a call. We truly believe that there is a job for everyone that fits perfectly, uses your strengths, lets you strengthen your skills, is easy and light, and brings you rest for your soul.

Relationship Success Coaching

Relationship Success Coaching will give you all the skills you need to find your soulmate, your perfect match, and discover true happiness and passion in a relationship. The essential ingredients are trust, respect, and communication.

Everyone is ready for a relationship of some kind. Someone with mental illness is ready for a relationship with a good psychiatrist. An emotionally fragile person is ready for a relationship with a caring therapist or a parent who can nurture and strengthen them. An emotionally mature person is prepared for a mutually respectful, mutually beneficial, and mutually exhilarating relationship.

Wherever you are in life right now, we’ll show you how to find and maintain relationships that match your energy and motivations.
